AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. Job Summary

AECOM has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Director Of Maintenance in Afghanistan. Supervise and manage maintenance and program activities in multiple disciplines covering technical and/or non-technical areas. Such areas include management, Army supply/ asset management, Army maintenance, Army transportation, DOL Operations experience, and program documentation. Must possess in-depth expert knowledge of supply & maintenance program relationships, concepts and methodologies pertaining to maintenance & supply areas of logistics operations. Supervise, coach, mentor and lead work teams in the accomplishment of goals and tasks in support of specific programs. Perform and supervise multi-disciplinary technical and/or non-technical tasks for applicable program areas. Interface with customers to determine specific needs and requirements. Develop detailed staffing requirements, assignments and plans to meet customer needs. Estimate personnel needs and schedule and assign work to meet completion dates. Coordinate the investigation and resolution of operational problems in conjunction with other personnel. Perform management level customer interface, including responsibility for contractual deliverables, development of responses to the Requests for Quotes and overall task execution. Develop required technical and management documentation in support of customer technical and programmatic reviews.

Minimum Requirements

  Bachelor’s degree and eighteen (12) years of job related experience or equivalent.
