CACI has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Windows Systems Administrator (SA). This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization OCONUS in Afghanistan. This position is required to travel OCONUS.
The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users.
Specifically the windows System Administrator (SA) will be responsible for supporting systems and applications on a geographically dispersed Windows 2008 and 2012 network with multiple types of servers and server applications. The SA will be responsible for Windows system administrator functions supporting a global Active Directory (AD) infrastructure in a mixed Windows environment. The SA will provide senior level knowledge and Tier 0/1 support to the customer and their components to include Tier 0/1 infrastructure troubleshooting and support that involves the configuration and administration of several hundred servers in their area of operation.
Additionally, the SA will provide remote support and/or travel to customer servers and sites as required. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining and supporting network devices consisting of primarily Cisco routers and switches. Using this knowledge the system administrator will be successful in providing necessary administration and maintenance support of this system.
Requirements:
Minimum of a DoD Top Secret Clearance
Be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)
DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security + Certification, equal or higher)
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) in Windows Server 2012, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) in Server Administration, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCTS) in Server Technology
Must be willing/able to work OCONUS for minimum of one year
4+ years of experience in Systems Administration work
Professional and responsible system administration of Microsoft Windows servers
Effective communications throughout all levels of operational command
Experience troubleshooting and administering Microsoft windows 7 desktop systems
Active directory account creation and administration experience
Experience with Desktop Support and Troubleshooting
Experience working with and supporting Cisco Routers and Switches
Desired:Top secret clearance
Automation using Microsoft PowerShell, VBScript, or batch files
Experience with SCCM
Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs
Experience working in VmWare ESXi environments
Experience with storage area network (for example NetApp)
Experience with enterprise backup solutions
Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards
ITIL v3 Foundation Certification
CCNA Certification
