Materials Control Specialist III

Job Description Provides specialized technical and administrative services within the CIF. Supports operating a CIF with Direct Exchange (DX) service for designated OCIE. Assists management in ensuring project compliance with requirements contained in the LOGCAP IV contract. Assists in establishing, maintaining, and conducting processes for receipt, storage, and issue quantities utilizing the Army Information Management System (AIMS) for all CIF items.


Major job activities include: 1. Count, sort incoming material to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices. 2. Examine stock to verify quantity or conformance to specifications. Store material in bins, on the floor, on shelves, or in containers according to identifying information. 3. Fill orders or issue supplies from stock. Prepare periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock. 4. Requisition material to fill incoming orders. 5. Compile reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, damage, or shelf life to stock, location changes, and denial of shipments. 6. Mark identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles, using labeling equipment. 7. Make adjustments to articles carried in stock. May determine methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space. 8. Move or transports material or supplies to other departments, using Pallet Jack, Forklift or industrial truck. 9. Maintain inventory and other stock records, using computer terminal. Designated according to material, equipment, or product stored, i.e. Retail or wholesale items. 10. Receive, store, and sort unserviceable equipment and supplies for disposal.


May supervise a team of subcontractors and/or labor broker personnel, in accordance with the “General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendum.

Job Summary


Mid-level Afghanistan Geo-Political All Source Analyst will support the United States Central Command (US CENTCOM) Joint Intelligence Operations Center (JIOC) located at MacDill AFB in Tampa, Florida and at a variety of other locations throughout CONUS/OCONUS and the US CENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR). This support is primarily focused on providing the CENTCOM Commander, the CENTCOM staff, Component Forces and our foreign partners with tailored intelligence needed for joint planning and operations. The contractor shall support the USCENTCOM Intelligence Directorate (J2) in performing JIOC Consolidated Intelligence Analysis and Support.


Key Accountabilities


  • Continuously access, review, collate, correlate, corroborate, analyze, and maintain a wide variety of all-source intelligence reports, finished intelligence products/reports and intelligence/operational data necessary for the JIOC to fulfill its intelligence analysis, production, application, and dissemination responsibilities.

  • Produce tailored intelligence products using source material from a wide variety of DoD, Interagency, and Allied/Coalition organizations and assist in the final editing/processing/release/posting of finished products and the application of these products in operations and planning fora.

  • Providing near-term and current Regional/Country geo-political and General Military Intelligence (GMI)-orders of battle, training and exercises, force disposition and readiness analysis of the USCENTCOM region and countries (AOR) and USCENTCOM Areas of Interest (AOI).

  • Providing near-term and current analysis on regional terrorist organizations, Violent Extremist Organizations (VEO), illicit networks, insurgent groups and related activities and issues within the CENTCOM AOR and the counterterrorism plans and intentions of AOR countries.

  • Compiling foundational data and conduct near and long-term analysis of the socio-cultural dynamics, tribal analysis, and geospatial behavior and interrelationships of key social groups in the AOR and AOI.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Must possess good written and oral communication skills.

  • Be familiar with MS Office Suite.

  • Familiarity with various Intelligence Community software and systems.

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree with 4-6 years of intelligence analysis experience or specialized training & 4-8 years intelligence analysis experience or equivalent intelligence/academic experience.

  • Must have 4-6 years of Afghanistan Geo-Political focus.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

  • Normal office environment

Travel

  • Willing to deploy to live and work in a potentially hostile environment as designated by the U.S. Government

  • Must possess a Current US issued tourist passport

  • Willing to receive Anthrax, Smallpox and other vaccines as required for the AOR

  • Able to function during a level of heightened state of threat, during extended periods of high pressure and stress

Job Description Conducts biographical screening of all Local National and Other Country National persons requiring access to military installations. Primary duties include positive screening of all designated personnel entering and exiting base by utilizing USG provided and maintained biometric equipment. Responsible to compile and disseminate accountability rosters. Initiates effective information flow between the Passenger Terminal Access Control Operations, BAF Force Protection Screening Cell and ECP operations, Flour Security Supervisor and assigned USMIL Force Protection and Contracting Officer Representative personnel. As unarmed Security Officer, employee will support and enforce physical security posture of assigned facility and or structure in accordance with USMIL and Fluor policy. Performs physical security inspections, operations security (OPSEC) checks and ensure NISPOM compliance within assigned area of operation.


Provides security services as assigned, including operational security and general asset protection for the company. Assets include financial items, accounts receivable, physical property, intellectual property, proprietary information and claims or rights of action, among others. Supports force protection operations and personnel security as assigned. Assists with investigations and Company response for violations of company ethics policy, both inside and outside the enterprise, to include dishonesty, fraud and conflict of interest, and other issues related to workplace violence and other prohibited activity. May support management in assessment and recommendations concerning security training, security awareness, residential security, office and project security, airport security, vehicular movement and route selection, counter surveillance and threat assessments in overseas location. Provides support to corporate crisis management program and business continuity operations as assigned.

Basic Job Requirements Security Clearance required. High school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and

five (5) years related experience.

Other Job Requirements Required to execute the four (4) Primary functions of the JPRC in; reception & accountability, rest and recuperation (R&R) operations, manpower coordination, and redeployment. The JPRC is comprised of Security and Movement control personnel working in a collaborative effort to support 24 hour inter-theater and Intra-theater fixed wing operations. Must possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as necessary to perform assigned job functions.

Requires the job knowledge, skill level and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions.

The Security Force Assistance Senior Logistics Analyst is responsible for providing multi-echelon analyses of ANSF logistics and sustainment information related to planning and executing strategic initiatives that build enduring capability within the Afghan National Security Force (ANSF).


Principal Accountabilities

The Pilot, RW, CH-46 (HLH) perform Missions as directed by the Senior Aviation Advisor. Experience required:


To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: IT related experience demonstrating each of the following four competencies: (1) Attention to Detail: Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attention to detail. Job Description: MESMO Inc. (MESMO) has a job opening for an experienced Front Office Structure Query Language (SQL) database professional to provide timely support to its current contract. MESMO’s client requires database development, testing, validation, research, data entry, and database transition support for a project being undertaken by its Front Office. The selected candidate will provide technical assistance (database development, front end interface, testing, validation, data entry, research, analysis, and database transition services) to the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) planners conducting planning, generating reports, and developing a SIGAR unclassified database in SQL server.


Specific Tasks:


  • Collecting data and documentation from a variety of source collections, US government agencies, international organizations, and foreign governments on reconstruction projects in Afghanistan

  • Data entry and manipulation in Microsoft Access.

  • Database development in SQL Server.

  • Knowledge of working with Microsoft SQL Server in creating, managing and maintaining databases.

  • Knowledge of database coding using the latest tools available on the market i.e. Dreamweaver, .ASP, .NET, Java, CSS, VB Script, Visual Studios.

  • Knowledge of analytical techniques and automated tools to perform assignments (at minimum, the ability to use database management, spreadsheets).

  • Transition the database to the SIGAR Staff for use and sustainment.

  • As a follow-on assignment, prepare and post the SQL Server database to SIGAR’s Public Website and ensure design, front end interface, functionality, compatibility, and compliance with all government standards to support interactive research and planning use of the database by the public.

  • As a follow-on assignment, conduct research of the public domain to identify creditable documents dealing with Afghanistan Reconstruction published by Universities and Think Tanks to associate with and post in the SIGAR database.

  • Assist with analysis to support development of audits for SIGAR to produce.

  • Assist with briefings and presentations of research and key findings of research to internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications/Experience:


  • The minimum requirements of the Research Analyst are as follows:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 3 years of experience with research/systems analysis with Access and SQL Server

Afghanistan: Afghanistan: Resident Journalism Advisor


GENERAL FUNCTION


Internews is seeking an experienced journalist and media development professional to support the implementation of the media strategy for the USAID/IOM Combatting Human Trafficking in Afghanistan project. Under this project, Internews will work with local media partners to raise public awareness and build skills and capacity to report on issues relating to trafficking in persons in Afghanistan.


The Resident Journalism Advisor (RJA) will be responsible for: developing training materials on media reporting around trafficking in persons and providing training and mentoring to in-house staff and reporters of Internews key partners Salam Watandar Radio Network and Pajhwok Afghan News. He/she will work with these partners to build their capacity and enhance the production of high quality, relevant and effective media productions. The RJA will report to the Internews Country Director in Afghanistan.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Develop tailor-made training materials for journalists and reporters, editors, producers, and other newsroom staff of local partner organizations Salam Watandar and Pajhwok Afghan News;

  • Plan, coordinate and lead training with the two partner organizations to increase the quality of content production and create new programming, including radio drama;

  • Provide mentoring to staff of the two partner organizations to develop content and produce high quality programming;

  • Support and facilitate the establishment of relationships between media/journalists and networks/organizations working on combating human trafficking in Afghanistan;

  • Develop and maintain keen understanding of trafficking related issues affecting the Afghan community, including security and political factors;

  • Draft, review and provide input to monthly, quarterly, annual and close-out reports, as required;

  • Support Internews’ communication efforts to promote and publicize project activities.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • Experience managing projects funded by US and/or European agencies or international organizations in complex development environments;

  • Experience working with the media in Afghanistan or similar contexts highly desirable;

  • Experience as a senior journalist including news management experience;

  • Experience in print and radio journalism and training preferred;
