Responsibilities:
Establish schedules and set priorities on the basis of general work schedules established by higher level of supervision. MacAulay-Brown is seeking a Program Manager for a 20 person contractor support team for the US Army Rapid Equipping Force. The PM will be based in the Customer’s space on Ft Belvoir, but half of the Contract support team will be offsite at Commonwealth Technology, Inc’s office in the Kingstowne area of Alexandria. The Team provides expedited technical solutions to meet operational requirements, inserting emerging technology into the operational environment and validating concepts to speed capabilities to the warfighter. The program equips specific units with advanced or emerging technology and conducts assessments in a combat environment within 6-9 months of project start to assess the technology used in the proposed solution and begin a true specification development process.

The PM’s role is to manage the team’s work to achieve performance, schedule and cost goals; produce a monthly status report and other contract reports; provide close liaison with the customer staff, particularly the Contracting Officer’s Representative, Technical Point of Contact and/or the Requiring Activity POC, Alternate Contracting Officers Representative, and Contracting Officer; recommend team members for hire; and lead the transition into the program support role as well as out of the role at the end of the contract. The PM is responsible to both the Government and to MacAulay-Brown for overall contract performance.


This position requires travel CONUS and OCONUS, including Kabul, Afghanistan and Honolulu, HI.


Requires TS clearance with access eligibility to SCI material (last re-investigation within 4.5 years, and either current access to SCI or previous access to SCI material within the last 18 months).


Requirements:
Must have an MS Degree and 12 years of program management experience.

Must be willing to travel OCONUS and within CONUS, including Kabul, Afghanistan, Denevr CO, Fort Huachuca, AZ, Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and Honolulu, HI.

Must be able to drive and rent vehicles, and drive his or her own vehicle between Ft Belvoir, CTI in the Kingstowne area of Alexandria, and the MacAulay-Brown offices in Vienna/Tysons Corner.

Must have strong writing and oral communication skills.

Experience as an Army Officer or Non-Commissioned Officer strongly recommended.

Counterpart International is seeking a Program Assistant (PA) to support the Afghan Civic Education Program (ACEP), a 5-year USAID funded project focused on promoting civil society and media engagement that enables Afghan citizens to influence policy, monitor

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Maintain productive working relationship with field staff, headquarters staff, implementing partners and consultants;

• Demonstrated understanding of political processes, governance and civic participation in the region;

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; Fluency in English;

Position based in Kabul.


Length of contract: 6 months (renewable) from 25th September 2016**


The position: Under the supervision of the Country Director, you will develop and implement the mission advocacy strategy consistent with international advocacy issues pursued by ACF-F in order to promote the technical and operational strategy, and increase ACF impact by creating political and institutional changes at national level.


More precisely, you will have to:


Contribute to the definition of mission strategy


· Identify objectives of change


· Define the messages, targets, partners and relevant tools


· Write proposals (or advocacy objectives within mission’s proposals) and reports for funding bodies


Implement the advocacy strategy at national level

You have a demonstrated working experience in policy analysis, data collection, analysis and interpretation, writing and production of reports, policy briefs and publications. MacAulay-Brown is seeking a Program Manager for a 20 person contractor support team for the US Army Rapid Equipping Force. The PM will be based in the Customer’s space on Ft Belvoir, but half of the Contract support team will be offsite at Commonwealth Technology, Inc’s office in the Kingstowne area of Alexandria. The Team provides expedited technical solutions to meet operational requirements, inserting emerging technology into the operational environment and validating concepts to speed capabilities to the warfighter. The program equips specific units with advanced or emerging technology and conducts assessments in a combat environment within 6-9 months of project start to assess the technology used in the proposed solution and begin a true specification development process.

The PM’s role is to manage the team’s work to achieve performance, schedule and cost goals; produce a monthly status report and other contract reports; provide close liaison with the customer staff, particularly the Contracting Officer’s Representative, Technical Point of Contact and/or the Requiring Activity POC, Alternate Contracting Officers Representative, and Contracting Officer; recommend team members for hire; and lead the transition into the program support role as well as out of the role at the end of the contract. The PM is responsible to both the Government and to MacAulay-Brown for overall contract performance.


This position requires travel CONUS and OCONUS, including Kabul, Afghanistan and Honolulu, HI.


Requires TS clearance with access eligibility to SCI material (last re-investigation within 4.5 years, and either current access to SCI or previous access to SCI material within the last 18 months).


Requirements:


  • Must have an MS Degree and 12 years of program management experience.

  • Must be willing to travel OCONUS and within CONUS, including Kabul, Afghanistan, Denevr CO, Fort Huachuca, AZ, Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and Honolulu, HI.

  • Must be able to drive and rent vehicles, and drive his or her own vehicle between Ft Belvoir, CTI in the Kingstowne area of Alexandria, and the MacAulay-Brown offices in Vienna/Tysons Corner.

Minimum Qualifications :

Job Description Provides support to Movement Control •Operations and personnel as assigned, including ground transportation missions and/or air transportation in theater.


May be assigned to a camp passenger terminal for fixed wing or rotary aircraft and responsible for daily operations. Prepares and maintains


movement logs, passenger manifests, cargo movement logs, and daily mission logs. Coordinates activities with military personnel and passes along

Essential Job Functions:


  • Conducts training courses, both on-site and on-line, for the company’s applications and systems to include lectures and hands-on sessions.

  • Works with applicable business unit/area to establish specifications of course, prerequisite skills and knowledge for trainees. Ensures that training courses address all levels of employee. Assists in the design and development of technical training programs and curriculums, both on-site and on-line, for employees on various software and/or hardware applications and systems.

  • Researches and assists in writing technical and user manuals to support training. Works with engineering, technical support, and/or applicable area to ensure that material is accurate and reflects current product features.

  • Gathers, reviews and analyzes course evaluations to determine effectiveness of training sessions. Prepares recommendations and reports to senior level personnel and/or management. Implements approved revisions to course materials as necessary to improve training effectiveness.

  • Reviews, as requested, external training programs to determine feasibility of purchase as requested. Makes recommendations to management as appropriate.

  • Remains informed of and maintain proficiency with applicable company products.

  • Works with senior level personnel and business units/technical areas to conduct needs assessments to ensure training needs are met.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, engineering or related field preferred

  • Four or more years of technical training experience

  • Experience working with company software, systems, applications and network products

  • Experience working with communications practices, principles and procedures for both onsite and on-line presentations.

Additional Qualifications:


  • Two additional years of related training experience

  • Trainer has at least 10 years of experience in US military intelligence

  • E7 or higher, working at the Battalion level in a supervisory role

  • Served as a military occupational specialty 18F, 35 series, or service equivalent

  • Must currently possess at a minimum an Interim security clearance and be able to obtain/maintain an active/valid US security clearance.

  • Communication skills to write training manuals and procedures

  • Presentation skills to train and educate employees on technical material and applications

  • Interpersonal skills for interacting with all levels of employees

  • Comprehension skills for understanding products and applying knowledge to presentation

Raytheon IIS Field Engineering is currently seeking Field Engineers to serve as Systems Operators for assignment to AFGHANISTAN supporting integrations, set-up, testing, and operations of systems at assigned Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) locations.The FE Systems Operator will be considered the technical expert and must be able to answer all technical questions regarding the operation of the system. The FE will provide support to all locations on a rotational basis. CONUS training in various locations will be required prior to deployment.

The successful candidate must:

•Have knowledge of, and be capable of using, operating systems and database management systems

•Perform analysis of system operations

•Be available for assignments to OCONUS and/or Middle East locations; both short-term and long-term deployments

Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•Direct experience with systems integration, software, and electro-mechanical systems

•Direct experience with MS Window OS and Windows Server

•Hands-on experience with tower-based sensors and/or aerostat-based sensor and communications equipment to include installation and operation

•Must be able to move and/or lift weights such as ladders, tools, and cable reels weighing up to 60 pounds using proper lifting techniques or material moving equipment

•Ability to work outdoors in Middle East desert conditions

•Able to work 12-16 hour days and be on call 24/7 while deployed

Special Work Circumstances:

•Extensive travel will be required; up to 100% to include Afghanistan, Iraq, and other international destinations.

•Must be able to deploy to remote international locations with little notification.

•Must be willing and able to deploy to environments that may include harsh living conditions (extreme heat and cold, deployed living conditions, etc.) and/or hostile work environment.

•Must be able to live and work in the Middle East desert with temperatures above 120 degrees F.

Job Description Under direct supervision, operates sewage treatment, sludge processing, and disposal equipment in wastewater treatment plant or ponds to control flow and processing of sewage. Responsible for monitoring controls and adjusts valves and gates manually or by remote control to regulate sewage flow. Observes condition variations and interprets readings and tests results to determine load requirements. Starts and stops pumps, engines, and generators to control flow of raw sewage through filtering, settling, aeration, and sludge digestion processes. Maintains logs of operations and records meter and gauge readings. May collect sewage sample, using dipper or bottle and conduct laboratory tests, using testing equipment, such as colorimeter.
