Job Title Security Supervisor, Senior

Job Description Linguists perform language translations and interpretations of Host Country and Other Country Nationals during Force Protection interviews of Locally Employed Persons (LEP) who apply for work or leave employment on US military installations. Interviews are conducted with subsequent post-screening recommendations to grant, deny and or refer to Counter Intelligence, submitted to the OIC/NCOIC. Interviews / Translations are conducted in language of subject interview. Additionally, the linguists validate documentation presented during the screening process.

Linguist is expected to interpret gist and idiomatically accurate real-time two-way translation working directly with investigators to facilitate accurate and effective communication; and assist biometric personnel in daily operational functions as assigned.

Linguist certification required with minimum language proficiency of 2-2-2 (Reading, Writing and Speaking) from accredited organization.

Basic Job Requirements High school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and eight (8) years related experience.
