Job Description Performs Air Operations activities and support within assigned area of responsibility. Performs functional tasks as necessary to achieve operational objectives. Reviews and compiles operational data and information; prepares and distributes travel reports; maintains proprietary data as necessary for analysis, planning, and reporting purposes. Confers with manager/supervisors and site personnel to obtain data required for planning activities, such as pending employee travel requests, cargo movements, status of work in progress, and problems encountered. Assigned daily tasks regarding the movement of personnel inter-theater as well as intra-theater. Performs numerous tasks that involve, but are not limited to, project operational activities. Recommends measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of services to management.

Position may be located in a war zone in a contingency environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions, including lifting and carrying 40 pounds of personal protective equipment for extended periods of time. To ensure safety, health, and security measures within the contract are met, all employees shall be literate in English (read, write, speak and understand).
Living conditions on the project are most likely austere. The most austere sleeping may be in environmentally conditioned tents on “Army type” cots. Restrooms and showers may be 250 feet or further from sleeping quarters. Laundry service for 15 pounds twice per week is commonly provided. Meals are provided at regular intervals in cafeteria or “dining facility” style environment. Living area will most likely have constant hum of generators or similar equipment nearby.

Basic Job Requirements High school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and
three (3) years related experience.
Other Job Requirements Requires the job knowledge, skill level and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions.
Preferred Qualifications Prior Military and/or Contingency Operations experience preferred.
