Duties and Responsibilities:
CACI, Inc. is responsible for the design, development, and execution of product specific training for our internal and external customers on Customs Lab Equipment.
This individual’s primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
The successful execution of stand-up technical instruction in a classroom environment for 4-20 students at a time.
Stand-up instruction includes lectures, practical labs and field exercises, as well as learning assessments.
Instruction will be delivered at OCONUS locations in Afghanistan.
Study current programs of instruction (POIs), interface with subject matter experts (SMEs) and engineering, to gather supporting data to create courseware and trainer notes.
Develop and deliver course content related to installation, operating, repairing and maintaining communications equipment.
Evaluate current course content, student comprehension, student engagement and draw upon field related experiences to make suggestions on how to improve current POIs and deliver an engaging learning experience.
Qualifications:
10+ Years developing and delivering course content related to operating, repairing and maintaining communications equipment.
Certified Instructor
Knowledge areas should include techniques and operations of the following Lab Equipment:
Handheld X-ray fluorescence spectrophotometers
Bench Top Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) Spectrophotometers
Handheld Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) Spectrophotometers
Handheld Raman Spectrophotometer
Polarized Light Microscope (PLM)
PHD in related discipline
Preferred Additional Skills:
Strong prioritization and multitasking skills.
Excellent verbal & written skills.
Strong communication and analytical skills, professional demeanor.
Prior experience in a laboratory environment
Prior experience in identifying minerals for Customs applications
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance
Ability to work in an austere environment and in protective equipment if necessary
