(AFG) LOGCAP Supply Technician


POSITION SUMMARY:


Supply Technicians reports directly to the Supply Lead. Under the direct supervision of the Supply Department Supervisor/Lead, performs routine day-to-day computer-related operations and tasks in support of multi-class supply support activity mission at assigned location. Supply Technician must be capable of working independent in lieu of specific instructions to accomplish mission and enforce the importance of safety at all times.


MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:


  1. With guidance and supervision, work with FEDLOG, MS-DOS, Windows, MS Office and other similar programs.

  2. Works with GLOBAL COMBAT SUPPORT SYSTEMS-ARMY (GCSS-ARMY).

  3. Prints GCSS-ARMY reports and handle customer service calls from customers.

  4. Maintains ATF, hand receipt, and conduct inventories and maintain accountability of hand receipt items.

  5. Performs other administrative tasks as determined by GCSS-ARMY or Supply Lead/Supervisor.

  6. Provides appropriate technical assistance and responses for GCSS-ARMY help desk tickets or other individuals as necessary.

  7. Provide training on GCSS-ARMY operational procedures and updates as required by Supply Lead/Supervisor.

  8. Performs other duties as assigned.

MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:


  1. GCSS-ARMY Workstation for access to System and database.

  2. Personnel computer system to access the internet for research requiring access to various Army web sites.

High speed printers for generating reports.


WORKING ENVIRONMENT:


Working environment will change between environmentally controlled office and storage activities exposed to outside environment. This position involves possible travel to a potentially dangerous environment.


PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:


Must be able to meet strict physical fitness requirements defined by the Government Program Office and will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE-ex: Kevlar helmet, body armor, etc).


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


Education/Certifications : One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.


GCSS-ARMY Certification (Preferred)


Associates degree or equivalent.


Experience:


Two years experience in stock control activities with GCSS-ARMY experience.
