Intelligence Analyst Stf - Lockheed Martin - Fairfax, VA
Position is located in Afghanistan: Intelligence Analyst, Intermediate is responsible for monitoring and analyzing incoming ISR data at the PED facility and provide assesments for hand-off regarding collections; specific experience on VADER. Performs maintenance and sustainment activities for the PME/MEP and PED systems and syubsystems. Primary focus will be to maintain system Operational Availability and ensure that information can be collected in the field utilizing the appropirate sensors. Performs daily inspections and roubleshooting/maintenance of systems. Shall be familiar with all sensor systems, to include EO/IR Full Motion Video, Vehicle and Dismount Exploitation Radar (VaDER), PENNENT RACE (PR), Big Iron (BI), and all related mission systems, for example: tactical radios, data links. Shall support operating, upgrading, maintaining, and demobilization of PED locations during and post OCONUS operations and be capable of operating analysis equipment and analyzing intelligence gathered from prototype and operational systems. Must be able to exploit collected data into intelligence products suitable for electronic transmission over Government networks such as SIPRNet and NSANet. Coordinate with the Government to analyze, engineer, install and implement the required communications architecture necessary for each PED site CONUS and OCONUS and associated infrastructure. Shall maintain PED infrastructure. Contributes to the maintainance of a configuration management plan that maintains consistency of systems performance, functional and physical requirements, design and operational information.

They apply a basic knowledge of a professional discipline, the principles and techniques of inductive and deductive reasoning, and a subject-matter knowledge of either a geographical area or a functional area to the production of finished intelligence reports and/or they apply a the knowledge of a professional discipline such as international relations, current history, military science or political science and a knowledge of the operations and resources of the organizations which make up the intelligence community to a subject-matter specialty in the field of intelligence operations.
Basic Qualifications
Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree”. Minimum Years of Experience: 3 years professional experience in managing projects as a lead. Five (5) years related experience is required if individual does not possess a Bachelor’s degree.
Clearance required prior to deployment and within 30 days of start date.
Valid passport for at least 3 years.
Ability to read, write and speak English
Familiarly with basic computer skills
Must be able to meet CENTCOM CRC medical minimum standards
Must be able to meet deployment training minimum standards
Must be able to work with customers and subcontractors in a professional manner
