Cmptr Sys Secur Analyst Stf - Lockheed Martin - Fairfax, VA

This position is identified as Strategic Review – Aligned to IS&GS.

Information Assurance Specialist is responsible for performing maintenance and sustainment activities for the Primary Mission Equipment/Mission Equipment Packages (PME/MEP) and Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) systems and subsystems. The primary focus will be to maintain system Operational Availability and ensure that information can be collected in the field utilizing the appropriate sensors in a secure manner and can pass Security Audits and Information System Security Assessments relative to Information system security policies and procedures.This position performs daily inspections and troubleshooting/maintenance of security products and services. When appropriate, this individual coordinates with the COR for repair/replacement of COMSEC equipment with the Government managed Regional Support Center (RSC). Qualified candidates must possess Vehicle and Dismount Exploitation Radar (VADER) experience. This position is located in Afghanistan.

“Sample Description of Work Performed: Individuals apply the disciplines of Computer Security necessary to perform Information System Security Audits; Information System Security Assessments; Risk Management Plans; Security architectures; Information system security policies and procedures guides; Information system accreditations and certifications; Command and Control Protect plans and policies; Continuity of Operations Plans (COOP); and, Installation and maintenance of information system security products and services.

Basic Qualifications

Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum Years of Experience: 4 years.

Substitutions: Seven years of relevant experience is required if candidate does not have a degree

Clearance required prior to deployment and within 30 days of start date.

Valid passport for at least 3 years.

Ability to read, write and speak English

Familiarly with basic computer skills

Must be able to meet CENTCOM CRC medical minimum standards

Must be able to meet deployment training minimum standards

Must be able to work with customers and subcontractors in a professional mannerpossess a Bachelor’s degree.
