Duties :
- Perform site surveys to determine exact physical placement of systems.
- Support through knowledge and training, modifications done to existing systems.
- Capable of install/de-install of all C4ISR assigned systems.
- Can articulate precise recommendations to unit commanders on the feasibility, functionality, and capabilities of systems assigned to AOR.
- Attends and participates in required meetings, conferences, and program status review as required and reports customer needs to managers.
- Perform before, during, and after installation checks of systems to ensure 100% system operational status
- Conduct scheduled site visits to sites
- Ability to ground, operates, and troubleshoots installed systems. Install wireless capabilities and determine cable routes. Can erect towers and install sensors.
- Conduct security checks and properly safeguard equipment.
- Design, implement and maintain electronic equipment, components and circuits for new and existing products. Assist in determining design approach and parameters to move product/system to manufacture or implementation.
- Assist in defining and developing quality standards of the end result in accordance with company and contractual requirements. Follow through to ensure quality standards are met.
- Assist in developing qualification test procedures and conduct qualification testing. Conduct testing and integration testing for functionality and limits. Examine and evaluate new electronic components and circuits.
- Create prototypes for beta testing and for customer demonstration to ensure feasibility of product.
- Assist in reviewing vendor capability to support product development and make recommendations on product specification and component selection.
- Research new technology or development tools to recommend and/or introduce modifications and/or advances to current systems, products and methods.
Requirements: Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering or related field preferred
- Four or more years of experience in electronic design
- Experience working with
- Electrical theories, design principles and practices and design evaluation techniques
- Company’s electronic design procedures
- Personal computers and related software applications
- Test lab equipment
Overseas Qualifications:
- US Government background/personnel security requirements and be able to maintain those requirements
- Successfully complete pre-deployment training and fitness requirements specified by the U.S. Department of Defense for working overseas
- Lift 70 lbs. to a working height of 48 inches
- General office and laboratory duties/functions
