Job Summary
AECOM has an exciting opportunity for an experienced AWRDS Clerk to join the MOSC-A in Afghanistan. Implements reporting process to track data quality improvements over time in AWRDS and provides analysis on how to enhance the data quality process. Prepares daily AWRDS data quality reports to include Material Release Orders (MRO) over 24 hours, MRO Pending Disposition over 72 hours, open deliveries and AWRDS data errors for the 401st AFSB and Transportation Directorate. Interfaces with the Theater Core Team and AWRDS Clerks throughout the theater to ensure AWRDS data quality integrity and the success of AWRDS data quality goals. Enhances current systems and provides trend analysis. Defines and prioritizes high-value data quality projects and manages the overall AWRDS database. Indentifies enhancements and improvements that increase the quality and efficiency of AWRDS data processing. Works closely with data quality technical staff, AWRDS Analysts and the data owners/subject matter experts. Reports progress on AWRDS scanning, open deliveries, MROs pending, number of MROs in 24 hours and data errors. Coordinates activities of personnel engaged in reports analysis, such as determining necessity of report, simplification of reports format, increasing content effectiveness, and reduction of processing costs. Analyzes and evaluates staff recommendations and approves implementation of changes, utilizing knowledge of reports analysis and standardization, managerial processes and systems, budgetary limitations, and organizational policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
At least one year of working in Operations Cell required.
Technical knowledge and proficiency of approved automated property management software, Army War Reserve Deployment System (AWRDS) with at least one year operational/analytical experience is required.
Must be able to obtain a security clearance prior to start date.
Must have excellent computer, interpersonal, problem solving, oral and written communication skills.
Must have demonstrated leadership and management skills including a professional demeanor.
Must have excellent knowledge of English grammar, spelling and punctuation and have intermediate math skills.
Must be able to work effectively with all levels of employees.
Requires a collaborative work style that fosters cooperation and teamwork.
Must be able to exercise discretion and good judgment.
Must be able to handle confidential company and employee information with complete discretion.
Must be able to identify conflicts of interest as they relate to employment situations.
Must have high-level organizational and planning skills.
Must have high level of proficiency in the use of MS Office, with an emphasis in Excel.
Must be able to anticipate internal client needs.
