Deployment Coordinator Job - SAIC - McLean, VA

SAIC’s has an opening for a Deployment Coordinator to support Force Protection Operations.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The candidate will perform tasks associated with deployment team members to OCONUS locations. Tasks include: generate and maintain an accurate and current log of all deployed personnel, to include status of Visa [according to specific Embassy standards], passport, CAC and LOA and assist/document/resolve problems and issues as well as provide feedback and suggestions for improving process based on Government and SAIC processes. The candidate will utilize SPOT, pre-deployment and personnel tracking systems to aid in the deployment and tracking of respective personnel. This position supports an OCONUS capability and will sometimes require non-standard work schedule. This position does allow for Telework with occasional visits to the DC Afghanistan Embassy.

Qualifications:TYPICAL EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of related experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
The candidate must have knowledge of Microsoft Office products for documentation, reporting, and tracking purposes

DESIRED SKILLS:
Experience processing Visas, passports and experience in deployment operations.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance
