Duties :

• Work directly with Government personnel, resource managers, and end-users to ensure successful implementation of all operations support.


• Accountable and responsible for all systems assigned.


• Capable of operating all systems assigned.


• Provide Over-the-Shoulder, Train the Trainer, Train the Warfighter, and OJT training to end-users and newly assigned operators as required.


• Attend and participate in required meetings, conferences, and program status review as required and report customer needs to managers.


• Perform daily operation status checks of all assigned systems and PMCS maintenance. Will inform the on-site commander daily on the status of all assigned systems.


• Use fault isolation guides to troubleshoot and determine precise problems to inform qualified maintenance technicians to facilitate and expedite repairs. Maintain a log of all repairs done on systems under your responsibility.


• Conduct security checks and properly safeguard equipment.


• Design, implement and maintain electronic equipment, components and circuits for new and existing products. Assist in determining design approach and parameters to move product/system to manufacture or implementation.


• Define and develop quality standards of the end result in accordance with company and contractual requirements. Follow through to ensure quality standards are met.


• Develop qualification test procedures and conduct qualification testing. Conduct testing and integration testing for functionality and limits. Examine and evaluate new electronic components and circuits.


• Create prototypes for beta testing and for customer demonstration to ensure feasibility of product.


• Review vendor capability to support product development and make recommendations on product specifications and component selection.


• Research new technology or development tools to recommend and/or introduce modifications and/or advances to current systems, products and methods.

Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience


• Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering or related field preferred


• Four or more years of experience in electronic design


• Experience working with


• Electrical theories, design principles and practices and design evaluation techniques


• Company’s electronic design procedures


• Personal computers and Plated software applications


• Test lab equipment

Overseas Qualifications:

• US Government background/personnel security requirements and be able to maintain those requirements


• Successfully complete pre-deployment training and fitness requirements specified by the U.S. Department of Defense for working overseas


• Lift 70 lbs. to a working height of 48 inches


• General office and laboratory duties/functions

• Personal computers and related software applications


• Test/measurement equipment


• Good time management skills


• Good communication skills for presentation of findings to management


• Good interpersonal skills for interaction with customers and other engineers

• Ability to listen and comprehend the needs of the customer with relation to the project


• Ability and desire to research new technology and methodologies in the electronics field
