We provide cybersecurity, intelligence, communications, networking and information technology services, systems, and solutions to the United States Department of Defense, Intelligence Community and Department of Homeland Security.


Job Title: Video Teleconference Coordination Support


Job Location: CONUS


Security Clearance: Secret


Responsibilities:


  • The position shall be responsible for supporting a set of telecommunication technologies which allow two or more locations to communicate by simultaneous two-way video and audio transmissions.

Qualifications:

  • Shall have detailed knowledge with Tandberg and Polycom Multipoint Control Unit (MCU): functionality, capabilities/limitations, and use.

  • Shall have knowledge with the different networks in use for the United States Forces – Afghanistan (USFOR-A), and the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) Joint Coalition (IJC).

  • Shall have knowledge with VTC protocols: H.323, H.320, H.261, H.263, H.264, G.711, G.722, and G.728.

  • Shall have knowledge with Tandberg and Polycom VTC CODECs and associated equipment: how to change settings, enable security, and manipulate menus and what settings control what functions of the CODEC.

  • Shall have knowledge with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Defense Information Systems Network (DISN) Video Services Global (DVSG) and site licensing.

  • Shall have knowledge with audio and video (A/V) concepts: how to set up and cable a room for VTC, where to put microphones to prevent feedback or audio issues, lighting, video, etc.

  • Shall have knowledge with SharePoint, including workspace and document design, and calendar use for the purpose of implementing a process for coordinating VTCs.

  • Shall have network troubleshooting skills and knowledge of networks.

  • Shall have technical documentation skills.

  • Shall have communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Shall communicate complex situations to w/Staff Officers, General Officers, and those unfamiliar with technical concepts or language.

  • Shall be Network+ Certified.

  • Shall be Security+ Certified

  • Shall have a minimum two years experience in a military contingency environment.

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
