Job Description

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Production Creation Manager (PCM) for a full-time position supporting our United States Government (USG) customer. The PCM shall oversee the production of all products required by the customer. This position will report to the Section Lead.

Essential Job Duties:

• Lead a creative design team which has the capability to generate a variety of graphic, multimedia products

• Designs, creates, develops and produces a wide variety of media products focusing on radio and television

• Determines the medium best suited to producing desired audio / visual effect and most appropriate vehicle for communicating media message

• Supervises the preparation of sketches, layouts and graphic elements using traditional tools, multimedia software and image processing, layout and design software for the production and dissemination of audio visual products

• Use existing audio / video archives, including Combat Camera (COMCAM) and public affairs medium, in addition to directing and tasking the capture of B-roll footage and tasks

• Coordinates and supervises all aspects of the development, production and editing of all audio / video materials (infomercials, advertisements, docudramas, etc…)

• Develops, oversees and manages all storyboarding for all radio and audiovisual productions

• Fulfills reporting requirements as required by the customer

• Executes multiple priorities and manages complex tasks running in parallel

Minimum Requirements

Minimum requirements:

• US citizenship with a current DOD SECRET security clearance

• Bachelor’s degree highly desired

• Five (5) experience in the production of products and messages across diverse communications media

• Must have working proficiency in Final Cut Pro, Illustrator, Adobe PageMaker, Premier, Freehand, Dreamweaver, Photoshop CS3, InDesign and Streamline; Macromedia Director, and other multi-media and graphics software in Windows or Macintosh

• Working proficiency in Microsoft Office Power Point, Excel, and Word required

• Work cooperatively with the U.S. military, other U.S. governmental agencies, and their counterparts from the international community represented in Afghanistan

• Function effectively during heightened threat levels and extended periods of high stress and physical danger and discomfort

• Organize and properly prioritize work assignments and function well in an environment that requires constant multi-tasking – and often long hours

• Excellent written, oral, briefing, interpersonal and technical skills

• Live and work with military customer in austere conditions across Afghanistan daily

• Function effectively and efficiently in a combat zone, during extended periods of high pressure and stress

Additional Information

Additional requirements:

• Dari and/or Pashto language skills are desired

Work Environment:

• Ability to wear up to 45 lbs of combat gear, including vest and helmet

• Travel outside secure compounds independent of military customer, as required
