Materials Control Specialist, Senior

Job Description Under direct supervision, coordinates Multi-Class SSA operations within assigned area of responsibility (AOR), including supply and cargo missions in theater. Receives, stores, issues, inventories, and maintains the appropriate ASL IAW AR. Performs data entry functions for in-gating, out-gating, cargo and inventory management. Performs materials transactions and stock control functions using SARRS. Responsible for preparation and maintenance of movement logs, cargo movement logs, and daily mission logs. Performs basic maintenance and stocking functions at truck and materials yards and checkpoints to ensure customers’ needs are met. Compiles and disseminates information regarding schedules, routes, delays, safety requirements, and facilities.

May supervise a team of subcontractors and/or labor broker personnel, in accordance with the “General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendum.

Basic Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and seven (7) years related experience.

Other Job Requirements Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications Prior Military and/or Contingency Operations experience preferred
