(AFG) Pilot 4 (Instructor Pilot/Sr. Pilot II) BD OCONUS

L-3 is looking for pilot candidates who meet our high standards of aviator skills, safety, professionalism, and customer focus.

Duties

Operate aircraft in flight and ensures the safety, comfort, and convenience of all passengers. Coordinates with maintenance personnel to analyze and correct aircraft discrepancies. Must also be willing to operate company-owned aircraft while wearing Night Vision Goggle (NVG) / night vision enhanced devices from remote locations. May be assigned other duties as required.

General Requirements

At least 21 years of age

Current US passport

US Citizenship

Valid State Drivers License

Read, write, speak and understand English

FAA Requirements

FAA ATP fixed-wing pilot license

Certified Flight Instructor / Instrument (CFII)

Current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate

Flight Time Requirements

Minimum of 3,000 hours of total documented flight time

Minimum of 500 hours of fixed wing multi-engine time

When evaluating the flight time of applicants meeting the basic qualifications, consideration will be given to, among other things, quality, quantity, recency, and verifiability of training; complexity of aircraft flown; types of flight operations; and hours flown as PIC in turbine powered aircraft. Applicants invited to interview must provide appropriate documentation of all flight hours.

500 hours of Instrument (actual) time

500 hours Turbine time

1000 hours Cross Country time

2000 hours Pilot in Command

Airline Transport Pilot (ATP)

BE300/350 type rating

Rating held for the last five (5) consecutive years

Other

FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit (RP)

Pre-employment drug test and a medical exam administered by L-3

Criminal History Records Check and a background check
