(AFG) Pilot 4 (Aviation Safety Officer/Sr. Pilot II)- BD OCONUS

Administers program and site flight and ground safety programs as required to maintain customer, FAA, progam and other policies and procedures. Operates custmer and company-owned aircraft in flight and ensures the safety, comfort, and convenience of all passengers. Coordinates with maintenance personnel to analyze and correct aircraft discrepancies. Must possess airline transport license with multiengine and instrument ratings, pass Class 1 physical examination, FAA examinations, and flight proficiency tests

Administer technical instructions to pilots. Develops, schedules, coordinates, implements training requirements and reviews and updates in the area of courses and classroom instructions.

Requires DOD Secret Clearance may require TS clearance upgrade

Able to complete training to include CRC requirements

This position requires the candidate to administer Flight and Ground Safety Programs. Must possess airline transport license with multiengine and instrument ratings, pass Class 1 physical examination, FAA examinations, and flight proficiency tests Must possess the necessary skills, knowledge and abilities to prepare, coordinate, schedule, and administer professional safety programs as required by the company contract. Work experience military or commercial is necessary in flight safety to properly administer this program. Must qualify for Pilot I requirements in this program

Must hold the following Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Pilot Ratings:

· Commercial Pilot

· Multi-Engine Land (MEL)

· Instrument Aircraft

These ratings must have been held by the pilot for the last five (5) consecutive years. The pilot must have a minimum of 2000 hours logged total pilot time with the following minimum experience.

· 1500 hours Pilot in Command

· 500 hours Cross Country

· 200 hours Instrument

· 200 hours in Turbines

Valid FAA Second Class Medical Certificate. BE300/350 Type Rating is desirable.

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
