Mechanical Engineer

Job Description Mechanical Engineer, PE, with 4 years’ experience or BSME with 8 years’ experience in both design development and practical field construction.

Proficiency is required with the following software: Autocad 2015, MSWord, Excel, Powerpoint, Lotus Notes Candidate shall be tasked to design Mechanical systems, develop detail design drawings, tabulate material take offs, assist in procuring materials and equipment, provide technical assistance and support to subcontracting with bid/work packages and provide construction oversight and support for installation of mechanical systems. Support and interact with a multi-discipline team of Engineers and technicians. Prepare technical papers, project brief presentations, interact with and supporting client requirements. Significant technical knowledge for the design and installation of the following systems is desired:• Forced air heating and cooling, constant and variable air volume systems• Testing Adjusting and Balancing HVAC, Air Flow and Water Flow• Fuel storage and distribution facilities and components, piping, valves, pumps, filters, etc· Chillers (water cooled and air cooled) boilers, water softeners, refrigerant systems, DX (packaged and split); sizing, piping, installation

• Building Automation and Control Systems (cursory understanding) such as Johnson Controls, Siemens, GE Fanuc, Simplex

• Petroleum distribution, storage, loading and downloading systems

• Fire Protection systems (AutoSprink)

• Su_m:>ression systems used in Class I, Division I areas D

Basic Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and five (4) years related experience.

PE license is preferable.

Other Job Requirements Experience: Mechanical Engineer, PE, with 4 years’ experience or BSME with 8 years’ experience in both design development and practical field construction.

Preferred Qualifications Desired experience or knowledge of:

• Petroleum distribution, storage, loading and downloading systems.

• Fire Protection sprinkler systems design (AutoSprink).

• Suppression systems used in Class I, Division I areas.

Prior Military and/or Contingency Operations experience preferred.
