Description:
This a full time position in Fort Meade, MD.

This position requires a Current TS/SSBI with ability to be read on for SCI.

Preferred Candidates: incurrent SCI Billet

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing support for the development, integration, and testing of Computer Network Defense (CND) for the Defense Information Systems Agency’s (DISA) Cross Domain Enterprise Services (CDES) program. Tasks support the development and deployment of a system to protect the CDES and all information traversing the CDES from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification, or destruction and to aid CND service providers in protecting information systems that interface with the CDES.

Minimum knowledge, skill and abilities:
Candidate must be able to obtain TS/SSBI.

Candidate must be able to obtain an IAT II qualified certification (example is Security+) within six months of hire.

Candidate must demonstrate an attention to detail.

Candidate must have experience working with cross domain guards.

Candidate must be knowledgeable of DoD 8500 series requirements.

Candidate must have strong understanding of Cyber Security Principles.

Candidate must be experienced with DISA’s Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).

Candidate must be experienced with detecting, monitoring, protecting, analyzing, and defending against network infiltrations resulting in service/network denial, degradations, and disruptions.

Additional knowledge, skills and abilities:
Ability to work with operational personnel and DoD customers, within an operational environment.

Desired Education:
Bachelor’s degree with a computer science emphasis desired.

Candidate must be able to obtain an IAT II qualified certification (example is Security+) within six months of hire.
