Study therapist - Brown University - Providence, RI
The study therapist will deliver both interventions (Trauma Informed Guilt Reduction [TrIGR] and Supportive Care Therapy [SCT]) to Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans enrolled in a Department of Defense (DoD) funded randomized, clinical trial. The primary aim of the study is to examine the efficacy of TrIGR, as compared with SCT, in reducing deployment-related guilt/shame and distress. There are also administrative responsibilities pertaining to scheduling and clinical documentation. Additionally, study therapists will have the opportunity to contribute to the dissemination of research findings by offering assistance with manuscript and/or presentation preparation. Qualifications: Must have a PhD in a mental health field with 3-5 years of related experience.Experiencing treating Veterans is preferred. Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and be able to communicate well with team members, clinical site staff, and participants.
