Property Specialist
REPORTS TO: Logistics Manager
The Property Specialist is responsible to the Logistic Manager for daily property management activities. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.
DUTIES:
Executes and supervises day-to-day property management activities including inventorying, posting, editing, and filing of all property book documentation
Processes data entry and transmits data to appropriate site
Edits and performs quality assurance and quality control checks during input of data from source documents
Responsible for maintaining property accountability of equipment valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars and maintaining the organizations equipment
Sign automated hand receipts as required; receives and issues nonexpendable property items to Primary Hand Receipt Holders or designated representatives
POC for Disposition and Lateral Transfers for in/out of service transfers for accountable property through the Fair, Wear, and Tear procedure
Manage Property Movement Form to support property movement within the complex.
Ensures conformity of property management to Supply Updates and Standard Operating Procedures
Responsible for all Government Furnished Property (GFP) requests, receipts, and transfers of GFE and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP)
Determines and coordinates property transfer records
Provides general guidance and policies to the Logistics Manager, PAE Management, and any new personnel
Other duties as assigned or required
QUALIFICATIONS :
Must have two to five years of professional experience logistics contingency support experience
Two to five years of life cycle logistics experience
Familiarity with Government supply chain management standards is required
Regional experience as well as experience managing subcontractors in a threat environment is also desirable
Must be able to manage workloads effectively including adapting to changes, planning, organizing and prioritizing work
Knowledge of various computer applications such as Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of Maximo and Cost Point Database
Must be able to work effectively under stress and pressure
Must be able to supervise a diverse workforce
REQUIRED :
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent. Logistics diploma/certificate/training is highly preferred
Security Vetting: Must successfully obtain a MRPT Security Clearance. Must maintain eligibility at the required security level for the duration of the contract
Medical: Favorable passage of a drug screen test and physical examination
Language Skills : Must be able to communicate effectively in English – both orally and in writing – with all levels of employees and vendors
Citizenship : US Citizenship is not required
