Responsibilities:
Manages the Central Permiting Center (CPC). Coordinates the daily planning and monitoring of the CPC which includes but not limited to: Confined Space, Lock Out/Tag Out, Hot Work and Elevated permits; including developing plans and procedures.

Assist the Deputy Director, Special Projects in carrying out research, planning, documentation, piloting, proposal writing, communication and coordination of multiple projects. Constant awareness of these projects making sure that time, risks, costs, quality and project resources are utilized efficiently and effectively. Point of contact for Base Operations regarding special projects for Munitions.

Continuous awareness of projects and current operations, as well as communication of status of operations, work orders/maintenance requests, and tracking/follow up of requests. Evaluates staffing and equipment needs.

Administer special projects such as the Chemical Accident Prevention Program (Mercury Transfer), making sure that it stays within budget, train employees, ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.


Qualifications:
EDUCATION: High School graduate. Associates Degree in Business, Safety, DConstruction Management or similar is highly desirable.


QUALIFICATIONS: Five (5) years experience in plan and procedure writing, budgets and complying with local, state, and federal regulations. Scheduling of projects is highly desirable.
