The Human Resources Intern Will Assist With The Following:
RECRUITMENT | Assist with all aspects of recruitment: job posting, resume screening, background checks, securing needed documents from candidates, research into success of recruiting methods;
ONBOARDING | New hire activities including system set up and orientation assistance, updating organizational chart;
EMPLOYMENT RECORDS | Maintains employment files and records per company policy and legal regulation, provides reporting through HR system as needed, liaise with shared services and payroll;
INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS | Coordinate internal communications, edit and draft recaps and presentations for internal meetings;
OTHER AD HOC PROJECTS | Work on other HR and organizational development projects, analyzing, researching and improving HR services and processes (e.g. organizational structure, performance management system, policy development, employee satisfaction and retention, benefits audit);
The Human Resources Intern Should Possess:
Strong interest in Human Resources, willingness to learn;
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources or a related field OR experience in Human Resources;
Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
Exceptional attention to detail and organization of work;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Ability to maintain confidentiality on all HR aspects;
Ability to work full-time;
