Responsibilities:
PAE is currently seeking a qualified candidate to serve as Deputy Program Manager (DPM) on PAE’s contract with the U.S. Department of State (DoS) to provide security services to the three PAE held Afghan task orders currently under the Civilian Police Program (CIVPOL). The DoS Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) is responsible for provision of a wide array of support to criminal justice sector development programs worldwide. The DPM ensures quality review of all PAE TO products and oversees preparation of all deliverables, and will report to the PAE CONUS Contract Program Manager and senior management. The DPM’s duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the supervision of personnel, technical & functional program operations, maintenance and services at assigned Program management office location(s) engagement with the US mission to coordinate program operations and ensure deliverables occur on time, within budget, and meet quality standards for the customer (Department of State, International Narcotics & Law Enforcement Bureau (INL). DUTIES: – Work is performed with considerable independence within established DoS policies, regulations, and technical guidelines – Supervise day-to-day operations by assigning projects, coordinate schedules, risk mitigation, monitor performance and quality of workers – Oversee the management and implementation of the Program Management Plan – Conduct sitrep reports – Oversee the coordination of work priorities and monitoring of methods, procedures, and programs – Recommend, develop, implement, establish and enforce procedures and programs to increase efficiency and improve cost effectiveness to the program – Key responsibilities on contract performance include adherence to company and government processes, regulations, and statutes – Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications – Direct and coordinate activities to meet goals in terms of performance, objectives/standards, service delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction – Review work orders and work order reports to ensure the tasks are completed on-time and inspects the projects to ensure all work is accomplished per the SOW – Confers with staff in order to resolve performance and personnel problems – Prepare project specific plans and long range work schedules; delegate specific duties to assigned work crews – Assist with the implementation of all formal policies and procedures governing site operations – Submit work order requests as required – Able to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of all completed work orders and provide summary feedback both verbally and in writing to the Country Manager – Prepare and submit detailed reports on work completed and on the status of the facility infrastructure systems projects for the Site Manager – Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Specific Qualification Requirements: – Minimum 8 years of supervising responsibilities in at least one of the major construction trades – Possess knowledge of the theories, principles, and practices of project management – Knowledge of technical information systems – Ability to demonstrate and provide leadership and collaboration in diverse experiences to address operational methodologies in project planning and management and customer service Education: – A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Business Management discipline Clearance Requirement: – Active Clearance or MRPT Other requirements: – The DPM may be required to have specific expertise relevant to the specific Task Order – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – Knowledge of various computer programs required (i.e. Excel, Word, and Outlook) – Must be able to live and work at the assignment location which could be remote and uncomfortable – Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions – This position is most likely a 3-8 month assignment – Must be a US citizen PAE is an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.
