Technical Subject Matter Expert - Tribalco - Bethesda, MD

Tribalco is seeking an energetic, goal oriented individual to join our Technical Services team. The ideal candidate will serve as Tribalco’s SEWP Technical Lead and will be responsible for establishing/building vendor relationships in order to capitalize on new technologies for our Federal customers.

Responsibilities:
Work with the SEWP Program Manager to ensure that emerging technology is consistently at the forefront of conversations with our customers and is available as part of our SEWP catalog

Maintaining vendor certifications and providing insight on emerging technologies to the Tribalco SEWP PMO

Will ensure superior maintenance of our product catalog and interact on a daily basis with our partner’s technical resources to ensure up-to-date product catalog components

When our customers have highly complex technology problems to solve, will perform technical analyses, gather technical requirements, suggest alternatives and design solutions to include best vendor products to utilize (potential for supporting the actual install itself)

Advise Inside Sales Support on best choice vendors to reach out to in order to quote proper solutions for the customer (in both best value and lowest price, technically acceptable environments)

Provide analysis of a customer’s technical requirements, planned configurations, and IT product selection and rollout strategy

Technical Lead with support from our Inside Sales Support team will examine specific requirements to verify product compliance with any Government, NASA, and Goddard security requirement

Deep knowledgebase on current IT hardware and software technologies, specifically in the realm of IT infrastructure and wired/wireless communications.

Specific Skills/Requirements:
5 years network architecture experience including layer 2 and layer 3 router configuration

Cisco CCNA certification

Knowledge of and experience with the following:
Networking/Security/Video and Conference Tools

Routers, wireless products, network bridges, switches

Communication devices (radios, phones)

Security software and hardware appliances

Audio visual products (cameras, audio devices, displays, virtual environments, racks)

Experience with Cisco VTC

Experience with Cisco Wireless – For Suite B

Experience with Aruba Wireless – For Suite B

Experience with RCDD – Layer 1

Experience with Vindicator/Lenel – IDS

Experience with MPLS and multi-link routing

Experience with VLAN, DNS, and DHCP installation and configuration

Experience with deep packet inspection, firewall monitoring, and other border security protocols

Familiarity with Federal contract vehicles such as NASA SEWP, GSA Schedule, etc. preferred
