GARDAWORLD JOB SPECIFICATION : Static Secruity Guards – Temporary Adhoc Task – (Subject to successful induction/confirmation)

Daily rate
USD$325 per day (Contractor only paid whilst on-duty)
Rotation
None predicted, subject to operational requirements
Duration of Task
Temporary until 31 December 2015 – subject to confirmation by GardaWorld
Travel Pay
Travel pay is one half of the On-Duty rate for day(s) spent travelling from the contractor’s country of residence to the place of work (max of 2 days) and on return to the country of residence (max of 2 days). There is no £75 travel allowance applicable on this project placement.
Package
GardaWorld will provide the Independent Contractor with appropriate accommodation, insurance, flights and life support

Flight Package
The Hub Airport designated by the Company for the Consultant will be located in the United Kingdom and will be the most cost effective option available to the Company at the time of booking a flight.
Operational effectiveness will also be considered when booking the flight. Such Hub Airport may not be the one geographically closest to Consultant’s residence and, as such, may require Consultant paying for the cost to and from such airport or making up the difference if Consultant resides outside the United Kingdom.
For example: If the cost to deploy GW Contractor from his local airport hub to Afghanistan is more than GBP1300 using diplomatic flights or £1000 with commercial airlines then any additional costs will be borne by the contractor
Hiring Criteria
APPLY IF YOU MEET THIS STANDARD.
- Be a U.S. Citizen, United Kingdom, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand
(National Guard and Reserve time only counts for periods deployed on overseas missions)
- Unblemished background and ability to pass a background check for disciplinary, criminal and credit issues
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Must have a clear criminal records check
- Able to write incident reports, policies, procedures and conduct after action reviews.
- No record of human rights violations, acts of terrorism, or history of substantiated
- legal/ethical/moral violations while serving
- No resignation or retirement in lieu of disciplinary action
- Excellent health and ability to pass a law enforcement physical, physical agility evaluation and psychological evaluation
- Ability to pass PT qualification course upon arrival in theater as defined by Client.
- Able to qualify with a 9mm semi-automatic hand gun, M4 rifle, and AK-47.
Desireable Criteria
- Secret Clearance (highly desirebale)
Job Duties
The Entry Control Point Operations Supervisor has responsibility to oversee security operations at designated Entry Control Points
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
The routine tasks and responsibilities are as given below, though these may be adjusted from time to time on instruction from the Shift Supervisor.
Operational Delivery
- Lead and direct the Entry Control Point guard force team members.
- Ensure guards perform routine visitor screening services in accordance with Client standards.
- Liaise with local Afghani Security Personnel to provide interpretive services when necessary.
- Conduct vehicle searches; ensure no threat to personnel or property enters worksite
- Comply with International Humanitarian Law and International Human Rights Law in all aspects of their work.
- Maintain standards of performance of the Entry Control Point guard detail.
