Job Overview: The North East Regional manager will drive the regional business focused on sales and customer experience. The role is responsible for regional travel, building sales volumes, leading the stores in the area, and demonstrating consistent adherence to company standards and procedures. Essential functions include:
- Drives and mobilizes store teams to deliver sales results; engages colleagues with impact and encourages team; translates vision into concrete plans for the brand and sales.
- Demonstrated successful sales experience, exceeding sales goals
- Ability to interpret and implement brand vision
Recruits, trains, and manages staff; encourages and coaches team to demonstrate and maintain an exceptional level of customer service.
- Liaises with brand partners and applies effective store solutions to deliver brand standards; demonstrates knowledge of store layout and encourages a team culture of knowledge and understanding.
- Uses space effectively to plan and execute campaigns to deliver efficient use of stock; ensures clear pricing strategy applied throughout the brand; encourages engagement with team to provide feedback to Home Office.
- Partner with Human Resources to effectively coach, train, develop, and motivate to maximize productivity.
- Develop strong communication and working relationships with the Home Office/Buying Office regarding specific needs, opportunities, sizing, and customer requests to target future growth.
- Mentor and develop key performers
- Demonstrate sound business judgment
- Review sales weekly and make recommendations to correct deficiencies
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years successful multi-unbit experience in retail environment
- Ability to drive sales and meet or exceed targets on an ongoing basis
Excellent verbal, written communication, and organizational skills a must
- Ability to handle and protect confidential information
- Ability to work well with others, as well as the ability to work independently to drive successful business
- Focus on attention to detail, taking initiative, and working in a positive working environment
- Knowledge of retail P.O.S. systems
