Overview:

Responsibilities:
DUTIES: – Managing CNPA Facility Maintenance Warehouse & reports directly to Logistics Manager. – Create purchase request using Cost Point system for any items that reach the re-order point. Monitor the on hand stock replenishment of consumable materials. – Create purchase request for any replacement of government furnished equipment or property using Cost Point system. – Manage updates in Maximo on new acquisition assets or material requirement in the system. – Issuing and receiving consumable items in the system and generate appropriate hand receipt. – Conduct a 100% monthly inventory for consumables items, adjust inventory with accuracy and integrity. – Reconcile inventory adjustments as required to ensure 100% accountability. – Maintain accurate, current, complete, and auditable records for accountability of property. – Ensure property records reasonably reflect property transactions and dispositions. – Conduct inventories on a monthly/quarterly requirement in accordance with current policy and procedures. – Ensure that workplace’s health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock – Promote constant motivation among staff to strive for an efficient and effective warehouse administration. – Promote constant motivation among staff to strive for an efficient and effective warehouse administration – Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel. – Knowledge of Maximo and Cost Point Databases. – Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Qualifications – Bachelors Degree in logistics and diploma/certificate in basic accounting principles – Must have at least 2 years experience in logistics/materials/inventory accounting; must have analytical, accuracy, attention to detail skills; – must have an understanding of inventory control or materials planning, including experience in tracking and replenishing bulk inventories; – knowledge of computerized inventory and purchasing systems; – ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with all levels of employees and with vendors; – ability to manage the workload effectively including adapting to changes, planning, organizing and prioritizing work; ability to work with accuracy paying close attention to details; – ability to work effectively under stress and pressure; knowledge of computer software including basic upkeep of spreadsheets and basic level word processing; – ability to research, analyze and evaluate information; ability to make decisions based on inventory and purchasing data ability to deal with confidential or sensitive issues; – ability to work effectively in a diverse workforce; and – ability to operate independently in austere environment for protracted periods and willing to transfer to other missions as required Clearance Requirement: US citizenship not required, must successfully complete a MRPT.
