(AFG-Kabul) AIAT AFHAN EDUCATION PROGRAM LOGISTICS TRAINER


RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:


Train the ANATEC and MFNDU Logistics Officers, and TED-C G4 and their staff, to include the Maintenance and Engineer Officer under the G4, in all aspects of logistics and coordination of logistics for the HQs and their subordinate units, branch schools, academies, to include Kabul Military Training Center (KMTC).

* Train the G4 Maintenance Officers on day to day maintenance and facility concerns.



  • Train the G4s to coordinate logistics seminars, meetings and inspections with subordinate units.




  • Act as liaison between ANATEC, MFNDU, or TED-C and AIAT. Send all reports to AIAT for review.




  • Oversee and assist in the management of the day to day logistical operations of ANATEC, MFNDU and/or TED-C, and assist all subordinate units with their logistical concerns and issues. Issues include fielding of new equipment, ammunition, vehicles, supplies, fuel, MOD 14s, forecasting and budgeting, assist with submitting changes to the Tashkil, and MODDACs.




  • Report all relevant issues to the higher headquarters. Contractor will also be required to visit branch schools and institutions, located within and outside of Kabul, as well as serve as a liaison while at these locations.




  • Works in AIAT Multi-Functional Advisory Team (MFAT). Understands the MoD 14 process supply and requisition process at MoD, TED-C, ANATEC, MFNDU, and branch school levels.




  • The Contractor shall work with AIAT, other Coalition Forces, and other contractors in the conduct of this project.




  • The Contractor must be willing and able to travel outside of protected areas with military convoys and wear protective clothing and equipment as required.




  • All Contractor personnel working in Afghanistan on this contract must attend the US Army’s CONUS Replacement Center (CRC), located at Fort Bliss, Texas before deployment, and must also return to demobilize when redeploying.




  • Contractor will ensure compliance with all US Central Command (CENTCOM) requirements for deploying civilian contractors into the CENTCOM area of responsibility (AOR).




  • CONTRACTORS ON THIS EFFORT WILL NOT BE ARMED. Commander, CENTCOM retains sole authority for arming contractor employees operating within the CENTCOM AOR



MINIMUM TANGIBLE QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Five years logistical experience as a commissioned officer.




  • Experience as a member of a brigade staff.




  • One year experience in Afghanistan or Iraq as a logistician.



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Ten years logistical experience as a commissioned officer.




  • Graduate of Command and General Staff Course.




  • Primary member (S4) of a brigade staff or higher.




  • Experience as an advisor in Iraq or Afghanistan.
