OPERATIONS MANAGER / Team Leader
**Contingent on Contract Award**

Base Closure Assistance Team (BCAT) – Afghanistan (Bagram and Kandahar).

Provides operational and administrative support to interface with senior government / military officials. Responsible for personnel assigned to and mission of team. Prepares an initial assessment of the individual base closure plans, to include, but not limited to assessment of the base and/or unit’s readiness to ensure a timely closure, recommended changes, improvements, and incorporate lessons learned. Develops and provides reports, charts, and briefings as requested by the government and according to commander’s policies. Coordinates and tracks transportation and equipment requirements for Base Closure Assistance Team (BCAT) members. Serves as a liaison, or delegate to respective BCAT members, to facilitate coordination with key base closure/transfer enablers including Mobile Redistribution Teams (MRTs), Environmental, Real Estate, and contracting, among others.

Qualification Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Logistics Management is required. Five years of logistical and managerial experience. An additional five years of management experience shall be considered an acceptable substitute for the Bachelors’ Degree. Ability to utilize higher level functions in MS Excel, Word, and Power Point. U.S. Citizen with final Secret Clearance.
