(AFG) Sr. Pilot 1- MARSS OCONUS

Duties

Operate Government-owned aircraft in flight and ensures the safety, comfort, and convenience of all passengers. Coordinates with maintenance personnel to analyze and correct aircraft discrepancies. Must also be willing to operate company-owned aircraft while wearing Night Vision Goggle (NVG) / night vision enhanced devices from remote locations. May be assigned other duties as required.

General Requirements

At least 21 years of age

Current US passport

US Citizenship

Valid State Drivers License

Read, write, speak and understand English

FAA Requirements

FAA commercial fixed-wing pilot license with an instrument rating

Current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate

FAA Commercial Multi-Engine Land Pilot Certificate

Flight Time Requirements

Minimum of 2,000 hours of total documented flight time OR a lesser number of hours based on the candidate’s aircraft and tactical experience at management’s discretion, which may include specific work experience related to ISR flight operations and recent or current ratings on the Beech King Air model aircraft, including Beech 1900.

Minimum of 500 hours of fixed wing multi-engine time

When evaluating the flight time of applicants meeting the basic qualifications, consideration will be given to, among other things, quality, quantity, recent experience, and verifiability of training; complexity of aircraft flown; types of flight operations; and hours flown as PIC in turbine powered aircraft. Applicants invited to interview must provide appropriate documentation of all flight hours.

200 hours of Instrument (actual) time

200 hours Turbine time

500 hours Cross Country time

1500 hours Pilot in Command or Instructor Time

Airline Transport Pilot (ATP)

BE300/350 type rating

Rating held for the last five (5) consecutive years

Security Clearance Requirements

Top Secret Clearance Required

SCI eligible

Licensing, Certification Requirements

Formal or Specialized Training/Equivalent on assigned aircraft and equipment

Other

FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit (RP)

Pre-employment drug test and a medical exam administered by L-3 Vertex

Criminal History Records Check and a background check
