Electronic Technician II – Tyndall AFB, FL
Overview:PAE is currently looking for qualified Electronic Technicians to join our team at Tyndall AFB, FL.Responsibilities:Assists higher technical personnel in depot repairs and performs intermediate repairs as required by tech data or assigned by supervisor. Applies comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting manufacturer’s manuals, technical orders, etc. Performs work in accordance with applicable technical data. Assist in the development of modifications and installations associated with the aerial targets contract. Duties may include operation/maintains test equipment, GMCS van, aircraft, aircraft equipment, launch equipment, RF systems, scoring, UHF destruct, communications, range instrumentation, towers and other equipment assigned to the aerial targets contract. Checks out and maintains control consoles, displays, data link subsystems, and other equipment associated with GRDCS II. Documents all maintenance actions in Air Force automated maintenance system and appropriate forms. Marks up technical documentation and drawings to reflect authorized modifications. Provides technical data for AFTO Forms 22, MDRs, QDRs. Other duties may include work associated with the aerial targets requiring lesser technical ability and support requirements. Performs maintenance and other duties (incidental and related tasks within their classifications) assigned by supervisor. Will provide technical guidance and training to equal or lower-level technicians. Qualifications:F-16 Avionics FTDs, (A-Shop, B-Shop, C-Shop), and F-16 Avionics Technician Technical School. Four years of experience performing organizational maintenance of military aircraft avionics and electrical systems to include experience in automated flight systems. Individual must be able to perform tasks to the intermediate level as described in the job description with minimal qualification training.
