Position Summary Provides basic IT support in a variety of areas or in a specialty area as needed. Functions in an entry level capacity. Provides systems administration support as required. Provides desk-top support and end-user services as needed. Works under close and/or general supervision. Essential Functions:
Typical Education and/ or Experience Qualifications: Enrolled in higher education or 1 year of equivalent experience. Knowledge: Has a limited understanding of the job. Moderate understanding of general job aspects and basic principles, theories, and concepts. Problem Solving: Identifies routine problems and seeks guidance when developing solutions. Discretion: Close supervision. Follows specific, detailed instructions, processes, and procedures. Impact: Errors would result only in minor disruption or expense to correct. Contact: Interacts primarily with immediate supervisor, other personnel. |
