Description
Northrop Grumman Information Systems
is looking for an Intelligence Specialist/Counter Threat Finance Analyst to provide support in exploitation, analysis, targeting, and coordination activities in support of military, law enforcement, and other mission partners / partner nations to counter the illicit financial networks of Transnational Criminal Organizations.
This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance and will be located in either Wash. D.C. (NCR) or Tampa, Florida, MacDill AFB.
The selected candidate should be able to perform the following duties:
Conduct intelligence research to identify, locate, and target persons, entities and networks of interest;
Manipulate and analyze raw data with the purpose of providing operational leads to relevant USG agencies and liaison partners;
Work closely with other CTF analysts, targets, and interagency partners; and,
Brief USG officials on the results of ongoing investigation and targeting efforts.
Utilize existing and new analytical tools (e.g. Microsoft office suite, Analyst notebook, IC Reach, Firetruck, and/or Proton, QLIX, M3, Palantir, and other Automated Message Handling System search tools) to effectively exploit raw financial data;
Conducting advanced network analysis on identified individuals and entities and create the associated deliverables (e.g. link charts, financial spreadsheets);
Deploy to Outside Contiguous U.S. (OCONUS) locations as required by the current operations cycle (e.g. Iraq, Turkey, Jordan, and United Arab of Emirates);
Utilize high-level points of access in-country;
Conduct intelligence research to identify, locate, and target persons, entities and networks of interest;
Manipulate and analyze raw data with the purpose of providing operational leads to relevant USG agencies and liaison partners;
Work closely with other analysts, targets, and interagency partners, as directed by CENTCOM PM or designated representative
Brief USG officials on the results of ongoing investigation and targeting efforts, as directed by CENTCOM PM or designated representative.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree plus 3 -5 years of related experience, 5+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
A current and/or active DoD TS/SCI clearance is required for consideration to this position.
Must also have the ability to successfully complete a CI Polygraph.
Must have at least 3-5 experience with intelligence operations and analysis.
Travel 25% of the time OCONUS CENTCOM AOR (Possibly Iraq)
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft office suite, Analyst notebook, IC Reach, Firetruck, and/or Proton, QLIX, M3, Palentir, and other Automated Message Handling System search tools
Knowledge of other interagency threat finance cells to include the Iraq Threat Finance Cell and Afghanistan Threat Finance Cell;
Understand interagency restrictions and sensitivities on sharing certain types of data, as well as the steps necessary amongst the interagency to share said data.
Experience with public and private sectors to include industries, banking/finance, academic, scientific, and other non-Governmental sectors dealing with terrorism finance
