(AFG-KANDAHAR) HR Generalist Mid
Job*Summary*
Perform a variety of administrative Human Resources (HR) functions in areas such as employment, benefits, training and development or employee relations for the company.
Principal Accountabilities
- Routine HR Support Services
- Assist and conduct hiring and orientation programs
- Represent HR department in certain environments
- Assist with coordination of HR functional tasks for transitions
- Provide guidance to various levels of employees regarding company policies and procedures for assigned Human Resources function
- Follow established guidelines in performing routine day to day tasks
- Copy and distribute various reports and documentation
- Compile and summarize responses to questionnaires, surveys or other information from assigned departments
- Input data in Human Resources Information System as directed by authorized persons
- Create and maintain Human Resources files in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Train appropriate employees on assigned HR function and monitor post-training for accuracy
Knowledge & Skills
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Applications
- Knowledge of human resources laws, regulations and administration that pertain to HR function
- Hands on knowledge for HR function assigned to specific position, i.e., benefit claim processing, recruitment, training and development
Experience & Education
- High school diploma or equivalent. Professional Human Resources certification preferred
- Minimum two (2) years experience in Human Resources environment
Physical Requirements/Working Environment
- Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable
- Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions
- Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions
Travel
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
