Job Title: Supply Technician


Position Summary:

IAP is seeking personnel to provide Contractor Logistics Sustainment (CLS) for aircraft maintained by the Ministry of Defense, Afghan Air Force (MOD-AAF) and the Afghanistan Special Mission Wing (SMW). This includes maintenance and sustainment of aircraft and aircraft simulators, supply chain management, sustainment of Repair of Repairable (ROR) services, spare parts and material procurement, training, and mentorship. The Supply Technician is Loads, unloads and moves materials within or near plant, warehouse, storage facility or worksite.


Duties and Responsibilities

Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved Opens containers using steel cutters, crowbar, claw hammer, or other hand tools Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, using hand tools Conveys materials to or from storage or worksites to designated areas to include the manufacturing floor by use of hand truck, electric dolly, Forklift, or other device Counts, weighs, and records materials moved or handled in an ERP system Attaches tags or labels to materials or otherwise marks information Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization. Secondary Accountabilities Works under general supervision on duties and tasks that reflect substantial variety and complexity


Basic Qualifications

· High School Diploma or GED required. Two (2) year of experience required.

· Must have specialized knowledge of storage/warehouse plans and must be able to accept assignments and provide instructions on work to be done to associates.

· Must have the ability to use automated equipment such as optical readers, scanners, and computer keyboards to enter and extract data.

· Must effectively maintain integrity and accuracy of database information through accurate input and efficient operation of automated equipment.
