(AFG) Field Engineering Mgr 2 (Lead Mechanic/Production Control)- CH OCONUS
The Maintenance Lead Mechanic/Production Control Specialist (PC) will be technically qualified as a subject matter expert (SME) in the field of aircraft maintenance including the necessary mechanic and logistics/supply functions necessary to support those operations.
This position will manage all maintenance support functions of assigned aircraft within their site and geographic region (domestic and foreign) to ensure continued airworthiness of aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration, Company and customer requirements.
Production control duties include managing the computerized Precision Asset Reporting System (PARS) to track scheduled maintenance, monitor scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and modifications, and monitor special inspections along with OEM requirements.
Position will also process production planning reports and scheduled maintenance events working to coordinate maintenance and logistical functions necessary to expedite corrective actions and reduce delays. The position will coordinate and review detailed work packages including but not limited to Phase Inspection and Work Instruction for scheduled/unscheduled maintenance requirements.
As the Maintenance Lead Mechanic/Production Control Specialist, candidate will ensure conformity to FAR, GOP, QAM and customer requirements.
Duties also include performing various Lead Mechanic responsibilities as needed. These include but are not limited to managing, directing, supervising, scheduling and coordinating assigned shift activities to support maintenance requirements, troubleshooting airframe/electrical/engine systems, supervising/performing corrosion inspections and servicing aircraft systems for structural repairs and in house component repair/back shop functions.

The qualified applicant must have a minimum of five (5) years aircraft mechanic level experience. Strongly prefer recent Beechcraft King Air B300, B200, 1900, or military equivalent (C-12 or variant) experience including Pratt & Whitney PT6 turboprop engine experience.
Work experience must include Lead Mechanic or supervisor capacity directing same or similar FAA and/or government aircraft maintenance operations. This position will report directly to site maintenance manager.
Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate required. FAA Inspection Authorization preferred.
Ability to work any assigned shift or schedule including mission support outside of normal duty hours
Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project software required
Must possess DOD secret level security clearance
