The position is on our Infrastructure support contract. It is to provide support on Military Camps in Afghanistan. The KBR Electrician is responsible for executing inspections and maintenance activities in theatre.

This position reports to the Electrician AP.

Qualifications and Experience:

The Electrician must be of a Technical status and have:

3 years relevant post qualification experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspection and maintenance of electrical installations

Responsible for ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety at Works Act

The principal duties of the Electrician will be the undertaking of inspection and maintenance of electrical installations in theatre.

Good understanding and working knowledge of codes of practice, British Standard and good working practice.

Capable of working unsupervised operating within a management structure.
