(AFG) CNJC/JSU Logistics & Procurement Advisor
Responsibilities:
Manages the complete CNJC/JSU center maintenance, procurement and operations, while developing the skills and knowledge of the Local National maintenance and operations workforce. Oversees the production efforts, training, safety and quality of American, Third Country and Local National employees. This includes personnel supervision, administration, interpreters, power generation, grounds maintenance, laundry, masonry, electrical, locksmith, HVAC, barber, doctor and carpentry. Proactively develops the skills and knowledge of Local Afghan maintenance and operations personnel. Is the lead in developing a transition plan (in coordination with INL) for Local Nationals to assume the operations and maintenance of the facilities. Reports directly to the CNJC/JSU Lead Advisor and assume those responsibilities during his absence. Works and coordinates directly with Afghan commanders, the INL Contract Office Representative (COR), Government Technical Monitor GTM) and Deputy Chief of Team-Logistics/Deputy Program Manager.
Qualifications:
Minimum eight years management experience with Operations & Maintenance/life support of a facility and general knowledge of the skill sets required (HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, custodian services, welding, etc.)
Experience in Afghanistan highly preferred
Familiar with property accountability and inventory management principles
Familiarity and experience with DFAC operations a plus
Able to analyze requirements and schedule preventative maintenance actions; knowledgeable of work-order process, prioritization
Previous Site Manager experience working with and training local national staff/transitioning to a local national workforce highly desirable
Excellent writing and communications skills
Ability to obtain MRPT
Ability to be medically cleared for service
Must be US Citizen
