Job Description

Summary:

Repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge (but not proficiency) in such trades as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work. Work involves a variety of the following duties: Replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors; using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings; repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets; painting structures and equipment; repairing or replacing concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks; replacing damaged paneling and floor tiles; hanging doors and installing door locks; replacing broken window panes; and performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery. Performs routine preventive maintenance..

Position Requirements:

Knowledge of trades related to building maintenance and repairs

Knowledge of a variety of building maintenance procedures and techniques

Knowledge of machinery, equipment, and tools necessary for the maintained and repairs of building, air condition units, electrical generators, small electrical motor, and water pumps.

Ability to use various power and hand tools.

Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.

Skills in following bludeprints and assembly instructions.

Skills in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.

Minimum of 5 years experience in general maintenance

Must be cleared at a minimum to Sponsor’s TS/ level

MusthaveavalidU.S.Driver’slicense.
