Project Management & Planning Operations Representative - Lockheed Martin - Mount Laurel, NJ

This position is identified as Strategic Review – Aligned to IS&GS The selected candidate will join the Aviation Services and Operations team and provide Program Management support for the Contractor Logistic Support – Afghanistan (CLS-A) program. The candidate will be in direct support of the program management office and will be responsible for the following requirements: Providing guidance and information to newly hired personnel and will be in a support role to Program Management and Human Resources for providing oversight and facilitation to the entire onboarding process/New Employee Orientation. The candidate will provide programmatic support across the full spectrum of program operations to include CDRL delivery coordination among responsible program managers; assist with the execution of the Risk Opportunity Management Program; assist in tracking and monitoring and ensuring the successful closing of items listed on the program action tracker; attend program meetings to ensure that action items are documented and included on the program action tracker; assist in the development and compilation of department data delivery requirements and internal and external PowerPoint presentations; assist program managers in tracking the OCONUS R&R schedule; coordinate OCONUS travel arrangements for personnel leaving the program area of operations; assist and coordinate the completion of R&R travel expense reports; input, train, and review labor timekeeping. The candidate will take charge of programmatic actions or issues that need immediate attentions and will coordinate timely responses among the responsible personnel. Candidate role will evolve to provide recommendations corrective or needed courses of action to achieve the desired end state with minimal leadership intervention. Assist in deployment functions to include obtaining clearance, CRC coordination for deploying personnel, and LOAs. A flexible work schedule is required for this 24×7 program.

Basic Qualifications

The selected candidate must have excellent interpersonal communication skills; strong organizational skills; superior written and oral communication skills; demonstrated military flight operations and training experience; proposals/BOE development experience and New Business Strategies acumen; demonstrated proficiency in operating in MS products, specifically, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills (ie. from pivot tables, subtotaling, formulas up to macros, VBA programming etc.) Equivalent experience/education combinations are NOT permitted for this position. .


Desired skills

MS Access Database experience. Able to identify and drive systemic root cause and corrective actions , including the ability to communicate and influence others in a concise data driven manner. Self-starter that exhibits attention to detail, capability to prioritize requirements and multi-task. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Candidate must have a sense of urgency and willingness to assume increase levels of responsibility
