(AFG-Kabul) ANASOC G3T EXERCISE DEVELOPMENT DIVISION TRAINER


RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:


The primary goal of this program is to provide subject matter expertise and training support to assist Combined Security Transition Command Afghanistan (CSTC-A) and NATO Special Operations Component Command-Afghanistan (NSOCC-A) through Special Operations Task Force- Afghanistan (SOTF-A) and Afghan National Army Special Operations Command-Special Operations Advisory Group (ANASOC-SOAG), in the execution of their mission. The mission is to train ANASOC units to perform their duties and responsibilities independent of Coalition assistance.


  • The G3T Exercise Development Division trainer shall train, advise, and assist the ANASOC Division staff in developing national level, joint exercises which incorporate MOD and MOI units and headquarters.



  • Manages the development and translation of standardized Programs of Instruction (POI).


    3 years’experience at the J-7 or CJ-37 level is required


    d) Combat experience in Afghanistan is preferred, but not required


    e) Demonstrated use of Military Decision making Process (MDMP)


    f) Knowledge/Experience full spectrum of duties and responsibilities of Division G3 Cell to include, but not limited to:


    (1) training operations


    (2) proponency management and training air operations


    (3) operations planning


    (4) raids


    (5) current and future operations


    (6) future plans


    (7) multi-unit operations



MINIMUM TANGIBLE QUALIFICATIONS:



  • The trainer shall have had an occupational specialty equal to US Army Military 01A (Combat Arms OfficerBranch Immaterial) or service equivalent




  • It is required that the trainer have at least three years of experience at the J-7 or CJ-37 level and has experience organizing, planning, and executing large scale, Joint, mutli-echelon training events.




  • Combat experience within Afghanistan is preferred, but not required.




  • Combat experience in Afghanistan is preferred, but not required




  • Demonstrated use of Military Decision making Process (MDMP)




  • Knowledge/Experience full spectrum of duties and responsibilities of Division G3 Cell to include, but not limited to:


    o Training operation


    o Proponency management and training air operations


    o Operations planning


    o Raids


    o Current and future operations


    o Future plans


    o Multi-unit operations



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Prefer candidate possess a BachelorDegree, but equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement and some education can be used in lieu of work experience
