Locations of deployment will vary depending on contract need. Destinations include both NATO member and non-member nations, including: Iraq, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Ukraine, Georgia, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, among others. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Reporting to the Site Manager, oversee and manage all daily operations for the Food / Catering service as assigned
Manage catering / food service personnel and ensure quality execution of daily operations
Operate, clean, and maintain food service equipment
Provide excellent customer service to food / catering customers
This position is contingent upon award of contract.
Minimum Requirements
3+ years of previous experience as a Catering or Food Service Manager (or similar role) in support of military operations in a deployed environment
High School Diploma or equivalent education
Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to fluently read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Must possess or be able to obtain, at minimum, a SECRET Level clearance
Valid driver’s license required
Strong oral and written communication skills
Must pass medical requirements testing and substance abuse test
Willing to live and work in austere conditions in a military contingency environment
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a Catering / Food Service Manager (or related) role for NATO (or related) contracts
Completion of hospitality / food service / food safety certifications or programs
