Summary:
TheSenior Project Manager/Contract Site Lead/QA/QC Manageris responsible for supervising all personnel and managing all contractual, budget, and logistics requirements for IT modernization project in support of the Ministry of Interior Network Operations Center/Joint Operations Center (MoI NOC/JOC) compound in Kabul, Afghanistan.
Essential Job Functions: (not limited to duties as described – performs related duties as requested)
·Develops work priorities for USN and LN workforce
·Manages installation and test schedule
·Monitors and enforces all QA/QC activities to ensure contract requirements
·Serves as the sole liaison between in-theater customer representatives, subcontractors, and corporate executive leadership
·Prepares and provides regular status briefings to senior on-site leadership (daily, weekly and monthly)
·Monitors all inbound/logistical transportation
·Enforces company and local policies for all USN and LN employees
·Responsible for meeting all financial/budget restraints and schedules
·Initiates/manages all access requirements
·Perform other duties as assigned
Level of Supervision:
·All leads report to PM
·PM reports to KO, COR, and corporate Senior Director
Education & Experience: (or equivalent)
·Bachelor’s degree in IT-related disciple
·Experience briefing senior military leadership (up to 4-Star General level)
·Demonstrated exceptional problem solving skills
·Excellent communication and customer service skills
·Able to troubleshoot platform performance in a virtualized environment
·Able to maintain a safety conscious work environment
Knowledge & Skills:
·Minimum five years Program Management experience
·Familiarity/experience with Microsoft Office Suite products, to include Word, Excel, and Project
·Able to follow directions and verbal orders with minimal supervision
·Able to follow basic step-by-step procedures
·Fluent in English (reading and speaking)
Physical Demands/Working Environment:
·Physically fit to stand and bend for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
·Use of appropriate Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) may be mandatory
·Living and working conditions at assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable
·Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions
Travel:Up to 33% (potential)
