Daily rate
GardaWorld offers a competitive daily rate to all personnel. (Contractor only paid whilst on-duty) – no payment for off-duty

Travel Pay
Travel pay is one half of the On-Duty rate for day(s) spent travelling from the contractor’s country of residence to the place of work (max of 2 days) and on return to the country of residence (max of 2 days).There is no £75 travel allowance applicable on this project placement.
Package
GardaWorld will provide the Independent Contractor with appropriate accommodation, insurance, flights and life support
Flight Package
The Hub Airport designated by the Company for the Consultant will be located in the United Kingdom and will be the most cost effective option available to the Company at the time of booking a flight.
Operational effectiveness will also be considered when booking the flight. Such Hub Airport may not be the one geographically closest to Consultant’s residence and, as such, may require Consultant paying for the cost to and from such airport or making up the difference if Consultant resides outside the United Kingdom.
For example: If the cost to deploy GW Contractor from his local airport hub to Afghanistan is more than GBP1300 using diplomatic flights or £1000 with commercial airlines then any additional costs will be borne by the contractor

Essential Minimum Hiring Criteria
- Afghanistan experience (Ideal, but not compulsory).
- Understand stores management systems.
- The individual should have an excellent knowledge and experience of managing diverse equipment inventories.
- Must be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of supply chain operations in complex environments.
- Familiar with basic MS Office software.
- As country QM, is responsible for all assets and accounting processes undertaken to manage, control and report holdings.
- Must be able to conducting sampling and snap management audits on all dependent projects and regions under their control.
- Should have held a min rank of SNCO/WO with at least ten to fifteen years in the field of logistics/supply in a sovereign military unit.
Job Duties
The individual will be an integral part of the Country Management Team and will provide direct support for project mobilisations/demobilisations
Responsible for collation of information in order to advise senior management on all matters relating to the provision, storage, issue and maintenance of assets required to support GW business.
Control and management of all equipment on task to sub holding projects and region
As country QM, is ultimately responsible for all assets and accounting processes undertaken to manage, control and report holdings.
Responsible for conducting sampling and snap management audits on all dependent projects and regions under their control.
Maintenance of the Country Special Stores Registers / Assets software for: (not Exhaustive)
- Weapons.
- Body Armour.
- Helmets.
- All other valuable/auditable items issued to security staff.
- Control of client owned assets loaned to GW to conduct security operations.
Retention of records and the accounting of:
- Issue and Receipt vouchers and account support documentation.
- Weekly/monthly 100% physical check of weapons/armoury.
- Maintenance of the ammunition account both manual and electronic.
- Maintenance of the equipment ledger.
- Issue and control of accountable items to security staff.
- Maintenance of sufficient stocks of in use commodities.
- Contact with providers for replacement items.
- Oversight of the Dining Facility for security staff.
- Provision of outside of service timing meals to on task security staff.
- Control and issue of accommodation for security staff.
Preparation of reports and returns:
- Consolidation / checking of the weekly security and monthly project/teams equipment returns.
- Conduct of weekly physical team equipment checks.
- Preparation of the Weekly / Monthly Weapons and Ammunition return.
- Regular auditory visits to Erbil and Basra.
- Facilities Management:
- Coordinate and management of all LN facilities and resource staff
Involved with negotiations of any facilities maintenance contractors
Expected to liaise and negotiate with local supplier in Afghanistan and provide direct oversight of the procurement for all GW locally purchased equipment and consumables.
- Manage & maintain cost control for all GW spending on resources and facilities ensuring the companies secures optimum services at reasonable prices.
- Control the country reserve stocks, advising where possible cost savings can be achieved.
Document owner for all CEERS raised within country ensuring the CEERS are correctly completed and approved before sending to Dubai if external procurement is required.
Regional Travel:
- Expected to travel periodically throughout the country conducting management visits and audits as directed.
