PAE is currently seeking a
Safety Managerto support our US Government Operations in Afghanistan.
The
Safety Managerwill:
* Provide appropriate training of industry best practices to managers and supervisor on safety and health, accident prevention and investigation.
- Be directly responsible for all data and reporting of injuries/accidents, illnesses in a timely, complete, accurate manner.
Qualifications:
US Citizenship is required for this position.
Must have at least 10 years of experience in managing large safety programs for industrial operations.
Must have the experience and knowledge to implement a large-scale industrial safety program using industry best practices in order to comply with DoD, OSHA, and other requirements.
Must also have a working knowledge of any required safety management system automation.
Must have experience in developing measures to prevent recurrences of reportable incidents.
Must possess the appropriate verbal and written communications skills to conduct meetings, execute plans, prepare reports, plans, and working instructions.
