(AFG-KANDAHAR) Operations Coordinator
Job Summary
Provides 24/7 Operations Center support to LOGCAP IV.
Principal Accountabilities
- Responds to a variety of information requests from field sites
- Provides accurate, timely situation-reporting to management personnel
- Maintains and updates the operations center information site to include
- archiving of all applicable files, logs, and other data sources
- Attends staff meetings and maintains awareness and/or updates of events that occurred during the previous shift(s)
Knowledge & Skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Excellent computer skills with various scheduling programs, MS Office Suite, and various databases
- Lifting and carrying 25 pounds of personal protective equipment for extended periods of time
- To ensure safety, health and security measures within the contract are met, all employees shall be literate in English (read, write, speak and understand)
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and a minimum of 5 years directly related experience is required.
Physical Requirements/Working Environment
- Living and working conditions at assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable
- Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions
- Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions
Travel
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
