QA Engineer Senior - Lockheed Martin - Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD

This position is contingent upon contract award expected in early 2016. This position is identified as Strategic Review – Aligned to IS&GS. Position is located in Afghanistan: Lead, Quality Assurance is responsible for performing/overseeing maintenance and sustainment activities for the Primary Mission Equipment (PME) and Mission Equipment Packages (MEP), and Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) systems and subsystems. The primary focus of this position will be to maintain system Operational Availability and ensure that information can be collected in the field utilizing the appropriate sensors. This position performs daily inspections and roubleshooting/maintenance of systems. “Sample Description of Work Performed: Performs work as a Quality Manager in a MIL-Q-9858A, MIL-I-45208 or ISO-9000 environment.

Basic Qualifications

Education Level: Bachelors Degree Minimum Years of Experience: 5 years” NACI required prior to deployment and within 30 days of start date. Valid passport for at least 3 years. Ability to read, write and speak English Familiarly with basic computer skills Must be able to meet CENTCOM CRC medical minimum standards Must be able to meet deployment training minimum standards Must be able to work with customers and subcontractors in a professional manner

Desired skills

Ability to multi-task in a complex and austere environment Experience as part of an overseas military contingency deployment or in Afghanistan Degree in (Preferred): Business or Accounting
